Recipe FAQs
In order to make the sweet potato slices extra crispy, bake them for an extra couple minutes. Just keep an eye on them because they can burn easily.
You don't have to, but we peel them because it makes the sweet potatoes softer.
We prefer them ¼ to ½ inch so they still have bite without being too crispy or too mushy.
To prevent sticking, line the baking sheet with parchment paper and make sure the slices are covered in oil and seasoning.
Cooking Tips
- Do not throw the sweet potato peels in the garbage disposal or they will clog your drain. Compost the peels instead.
- Keep an eye on the sweet potatoes during the last few minutes of their cooking. They can go from perfectly roasted to burnt quickly.
